How can I get a quote for commissioning a piece of furniture I already own?
Most quotes we can do by email if you can send us some images of your furniture. We will then be in touch with any questions and to discuss your requirements in full.
What if I want you to also source a specific piece of furniture for me?
If you are after something very specific, or just have a rough idea of what you need, let us have any dimensions and, ideally, images of the sort of thing you are after. We can then give you a rough estimation of what the cost of sourcing and painting the item would be. If you are happy with this we will go hunting for you but would always call you before purchasing anything on your behalf. A deposit is required for this service, the amount depending on what item we are buying on your behalf. This is returnable if nothing is purchased for whatever reason.
What about paint colours & finishes?
You are more than welcome to come into the studio to discuss paint colour and finishing requirements and we can also visit you in your home if this is beneficial to the decision process.
Can you make other changes?
Yes, we can change handles, add wallpaper, fabric, etc. We are always up for a challenge so let us know what you have in mind.
Where does the painting take place?
We have a studio in South West London where we undertake all of our commissions. If your furniture cannot be moved we can paint on site but charges do increase with this service.
How long will it take?
This really depends on what you are having d0ne but as an example, items such as sideboards, chests of drawers are usually with us for 7 days.
What about transportation?
Transport is your responsibility but we can recommend some excellent removers who specialise in furniture and antiques who are fully insured. They can come with either one or two men depending on the weight and size of your item.
