We have a lot of requests to paint kitchen dressers – they’re functional, useful and expensive to replace and the classic pine dresser is a well loved piece of furniture in a lot of people’s homes. However they tend to be big and sometimes all that pine is a lot, even when it is a much loved family heirloom!

Blending in with today’s homes….

Pine is a wonderful wood to paint and can take any kind of look – chalk paint for a lived in or distressed style or a modern sleek finish for a more contemporary look. Handles can be changed, back panels painted in contrasting colours or even wallpapered for a statement feel.

“the classic pine dresser lives on in the modern home – functional, sturdy and incredibly useful”

Depending on the usage we finish our dressers with a soft wax or a matte or gloss varnish to make sure they can withstand daily life.
